Procopio client and healthcare workflow automation provider Shadowbox has rolled out a new upgrade to its no-code software platform, ensuring healthcare providers have an even faster and easier way to safely and securely transfer patient data. Clinicians still benefit from the convergence of all relevant patient information to ease the claim submission process, albeit with an improved interface featuring adjustable split-screen windows, user-friendly control buttons, and other new features.

Procopio Partner John Cleary serves as Shadowbox’s corporate counsel, addressing among other legal matters corporate governance, contracts, and capital fundraising. Shadowbox Founder and CEO Greg Stein told the San Diego Business Journal (SDBJ) that the company is contemplating another fundraising round.

Shadowbox automates manual tasks to allow healthcare professionals to focus on patient care instead of administrative tasks. The company’s platform does not require heavy code or IT support. Stein founded the company in 2017 after seeing firsthand as a diagnostic lab executive the challenges inherent with integrating the clinic EHR to the lab when a doctor needed to order a test. The process was time-consuming, expensive, and often failed to deliver an ROI. Shadowbox’s patented technology ensures a faster, more efficient and more cost-effective process.

The company has 70 active clients using its platform, Stein told the SDBJ, a four-fold increase over the last two years. Since executing their Series A in late 2022, annual revenues have doubled and monthly revenues from subscriptions has tripled. The company’s significant platform upgrade is designed to continue to fuel that growth.
