Procopio Provides Free Legal Training to Diverse Business Owners
Procopio attorneys will be providing free legal training to San Diego hospitality businesses owned by people of color, LGBTQ+, women and veterans as part of a new initiative launched by the San Diego Tourism Authority.
As the San Diego Union-Tribune reports:
The pilot program, which tourism officials say is one of the first of this scope in the country, is meant to promote equity and inclusion in the industry by, among other things, providing free membership in the bureau, mentoring, education, and networking opportunities to a more diverse demographic.
Procopio attorneys have provided pro bono legal services in the communities in which they serve dating back to the founding of the firm more than seventy-five years ago. The firm is also dedicated to enhancing diversity, equity and inclusion both within the firm and throughout the greater community. As a partner of the San Diego Tourism Authority, it was an easy decision to participate in this inspiring pilot program.
