Accomplished Construction Litigator Mary Salamone Joins Procopio as Partner
January 16, 2020 (San Diego) –Highly regarded Construction Law attorney Mary A. Salamone is bringing her three decades of experience regarding all aspects of public and private construction projects to Procopio as its newest Partner. Mary has represented a wide array of public and private entities in major construction projects, from the earliest stages of development to high-stakes dispute resolutions. She joins Procopio’s growing Construction Law practice, which represents all segments of the construction industry and is ranked by Chambers USA for California.

Mary handles a wide array of construction industry matters including alternative project delivery methods, competitive bidding, contract drafting, project management and contract administration, scheduling and delay issues, lost productivity, differing site conditions, change orders for added scope, cost overruns, mechanics lien, stop payment notice and bond rights, risk management, claims resolution, and more. She has handled multi-million dollar disputes on high profile, complex construction projects and achieved favorable settlements and judgments on behalf of her clients.
She represents a wide array of public clients, including counties, municipalities and governmental agencies. She has also represented large contractors and influential designers in construction-related disputes in California and nationally. Ongoing and past projects in California include mega-development Metropolis, Walt Disney Concert Hall, Metro Red Line Rail Stations, John Wayne Airport, Diamond Valley Lake dam, and the Middle Harbor Redevelopment at the Port of Long Beach. Other projects include the Aladdin Hotel and Casino and Desert Passage Retail Mall (now Planet Hollywood) in Las Vegas and the home of the Arizona Cardinals, State Farm Stadium.
Admitted in California, Nevada, Virginia, and several U.S. district courts, Mary earned her J.D. from Cornell Law School and a B.A. from the University of Rochester.
