What is this training about? This 90-minute webinar meets the training requirements of the federal Title IX regulations, while helping schools understand the practical side of how Title IX works in California TK-12 charter schools. NEW! We will also briefly discuss the latest on Title IX lawsuits and injunctions affecting some California schools.   

Who is this training for? This training is designed for your school’s Title IX Coordinator and any other school personnel who may work on a Title IX investigation, including as an Investigator, Decisionmaker, and Appeals Officer.

What about the requirement for all school employees to receive Title IX training? The new Title IX regulations require all school employees to receive certain training on Title IX, but not all employees need to attend this full-length webinar training. Procopio attorneys are assisting our charter school clients in offering other short training materials (written or video) for schools to meet the all-employee training requirement. What else does my school need for Title IX compliance? Ahead of the new 2024-25 school year, schools need to update their Title IX policies and grievance procedures, website statements, and notices in the school’s employee and student handbooks.
