Kudos to client and software talent and staffing leader Aya Healthcare on its pending acquisition of Cross Country Healthcare (NASDAQ: CCRN). Aya is the largest healthcare and staffing resource company in the United States, and its approximately $615-million acquisition of Cross Country will further expand its ability to serve its wide range of clients. The deal is expected to close in the first half of 2025 following approval by Cross Country shareholders. The publicly traded company’s board voted unanimously to be acquired by the privately held Aya.

Procopio Managing Partner Dennis Doucette led the transaction on behalf of Aya, supported by Partner Trent Andrews and Associate Kaitlyn Jensen. Other corporate and tax attorneys assisted in the transaction. Procopio has managed seventeen acquisitions for Aya in recent years.

Aya is headquartered in San Diego, California, and Cross Country in Boca Raton, Florida. Cross Country Co-Founder and Chairman Kevin Clark will stay on as President and Chief Executive Officer of Cross Country as part of Aya.
