November 18, 2023 (San Diego) — Procopio Managing Partner Dennis Doucette and Partner Bill Eigner have been named to the 2024 San Diego Business Journal SD 500 Most Influential People List. Each year the business publication recognizes 500 distinguished professionals from the San Diego metropolitan area.

Dennis Doucette helps companies get formed, funded and sold. He focuses on buyers, sellers and investors in mergers, stock and asset purchases, management buyouts, reorganizations and related transactions. He has extensive experience with formations, corporate stock issuances, recapitalizations and reorganizations, stock restriction agreements, officers and directors advice, equity incentives/compensation, securities compliance, higher education law, and corporate governance. Dennis has participated in more than 500 corporate finance transactions, including corporate, securities, mergers and acquisitions and venture financing. Based in the firm’s Del Mar Heights office, he was recently elected the firm’s Managing Partner. This is his third SD 500 recognition.

Bill Eigner counsels clients in venture capital, angel financing, seed capital and financing, governing, operating, buying, selling and merging (M&A) of growing technology and other businesses. He focuses on corporate and business transactions, including matters relating to software, telecommunications, e-commerce, cybersecurity, energy, clean technology, life sciences, corporate governance, franchising, employment and independent contractor issues. Based in the firm’s downtown San Diego office, he is recognized by Best Lawyers® for Corporate Governance Law, Corporate Law, Mergers & Acquisitions, and earlier this year was named a Leader of Influence in the Law by the San Diego Business Journal.
