Leading San Diego Tax Attorney Joins Procopio

San Diego, CA – The San Diego law firm of Procopio, Cory, Hargreaves & Savitch LLP is pleased to announce that David C. Boatwright has joined the firm's Tax Practice Group as Of Counsel.
For over a decade, Mr. Boatwright chaired the San Diego tax practice of Latham & Watkins. His practice focuses on general business and contractual matters, real estate, limited liability companies, partnerships and joint venture arrangements, private equity fund formation and portfolio investment, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate recapitalizations and restructurings.
In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Boatwright is very active in the San Diego community. He serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Monarch School Project, an organization that is dedicated to providing homeless and at-risk children with an accredited education while caring for their basic needs. Mr. Boatwright also serves as a Director of Common Sense California, an organization dedicated to strengthening representative democracy in California state and local government. He is a member of The Board of Visitors for Pepperdine University School of Law and is also an Assistant Scout Master with the Boy Scouts of America.
