San Diego, CA – The law firm of Procopio, Cory, Hargreaves & Savitch LLP is proud to announce that partner Eric T. Lodge has been appointed to the board of directors of the North County Philanthropy Council. 

The North County Philanthropy Council is an association of professionals, board members and volunteers of nonprofit organizations serving North San Diego County communities. Membership in the council is open to all organizations and individuals interested in philanthropy.  The Council provides education and training in fundraising and leadership development, promoting the values of philanthropy, fostering communication among those in the nonprofit sector and recognizing individuals whose efforts have "made a difference" in the community.   

Eric T. Lodge is the leader of Procopio’s Trust, Estate and Probate Practice Group. Mr. Lodge's practice focuses on estate planning, trust and probate matters out of the firm's Carlsbad office. Prior to joining Procopio in 2002, he was a principal in the law firm of Lodge & Heller in Carlsbad, California.  Mr. Lodge received his undergraduate education at Trinity College, Hartford, Connecticut, and his law degree from the University of Southern California.  He is a specialist in probate, estate planning and trust law as certified by the California Board of Legal Specialization of the State Bar of California.  Mr. Lodge also sits on the board of directors for the San Diego chapter of the Arthritis Foundation, is a member and past president of the Carlsbad Hi-Noon Rotary Club, and serves on the advisory board for the San Dieguito River Valley Conservancy.
