Mr. Felix's practice focuses on intellectual property and business litigation. Mr. Felix represents plaintiffs and defendants in patent, trademark, copyright and trade secret disputes and infringement litigation. He also represents business owners, institutions, individuals and commercial landlords and tenants, in securities and business disputes. Mr. Felix worked eight years as a Senior Design Engineer for an Aerospace Company prior to obtaining his law degree. He is a registered patent attorney, admitted to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Mr. Felix is admitted to practice in all California state and federal courts. He is also admitted to practice law in Nevada. Mr. Felix is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Northern District of Illinois and District of Colorado, the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, and the U.S. Supreme Court.

- Dataquill v. Kyocera, defense of patent infringement lawsuit alleging that Kyocera's cellular phones infringe on bar code reader patents
- Elsevier v. Casken, Inc., defense of copyright infringement lawsuit brought by several major U.S. publishers against a bookstore chain
- FTD v. Broadway Florist, prosecution of trademark infringement and dilution case involving FTD's registered trademarks
- Kupfer v. Morgan Stanley, prosecution of arbitration case against securities brokerage firm alleging breach of fiduciary duty
- Kupfer v. AG Edwards, prosecution of $3.5 million arbitration case against securities brokerage firm alleging breach of fiduciary duty and fraud
- On Line Evolution v. Vitalstream, Inc., prosecution of breach of contract dispute against major provider of Internet website hosting services
- Represented several commercial landlords in landlord-tenant lease disputes and subsequent actions for unlawful detainer and breach of contract
- Defended Northern California real estate development company in numerous complex construction defect cases
- Represented hundreds of owners of single family homes against developers and contractors, resulting in judgments and settlements totaling over $20 million
Education, Distinctions & Community Involvement
Mr. Felix received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Boston University, magna cum laude, and his law degree from the University of San Diego School of Law. He is the past chair of the San Diego MIT Enterprise Forum Summer Social and currently serves on the Board of Trustees of the La Jolla Playhouse.
