Monique Candor's practice focuses on complex litigation in the areas of commercial litigation, intellectual property, financial institutions and Native American issues. Ms. Candor also represents homeowners in disputes regarding property rights.

Representative Matters
- Obtained $1.38 million jury verdict on behalf of a hotel owner against its former operator; also obtained verdict in favor of the hotel owner against the cross-complaint of operator seeking $5 million for breach of contract
- Obtained multi-million dollar settlement for plaintiffs in a securities lawsuit against a public corporation
- Successfully defended business owner against former manager's claims of breach of contract; also obtained return of two of owner's businesses from former manager, as well as judgment against the former manager for $750,000
- Obtained settlement in excess of $500,000 for business owner seeking damages for trademark and trade dress infringement
- Represented numerous individual homeowners in successfully resolving disputes over property rights, including construction, remodel, and view issues
Education, Distinctions & Community Involvement
Monique Candor received her law degree, magna cum laude, from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in 1995, where she was a member of the Honors Moot Court Board. During law school, Ms. Candor earned American Jurisprudence Awards in Contracts, Real Property, Evidence, Civil Procedure, and Professional Responsibility. She also won several awards for her oral advocacy and brief writing skills in state and local moot court competitions, including the 1995 Roger J. Traynor Moot Court Competition. In 1995, Ms. Candor was admitted to practice law in California. She is also admitted to practice law before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and the U.S. District Court for the Southern and Central Districts of California. Ms. Candor has served as an Adjunct Professor at her alma mater, Thomas Jefferson School of Law, where she taught advanced legal writing and appellate advocacy. She is a former Barrister of the Welsh Chapter of the American Inns of Court, and a past member of the Enright Chapter of the American Inns of Court. Ms. Candor is a member of the San Diego County Bar Association.
