Ms. Riesenberg specializes in employment law and employee benefit matters, including counseling as well as employment and ERISA litigation. She also counsel employers regarding compliance with wage and hour laws, discrimination and harassment laws, and represents employers in Department of Fair Employment and Housing proceedings, California Division of Labor Standards Enforcement hearings, and in actions brought in state and federal courts.
Education, Distinctions & Community Involvement
Ms. Riesenberg received a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1974 from the Ohio State University. She also received her Master of Science degree in 1975 and a Master of Arts degree in 1976 from Ohio State University. Prior to attending law school, Ms. Riesenberg worked as an editor for the American Chemical Society in Washington, D.C. for three years then moved to California where she taught science and mathematics in San Diego schools before graduating from the University of San Diego School of Law in 1996. Ms. Riesenberg was admitted to practice in the State of California in 1996 and is a member of the State Bar of California.
