Education, Distinctions & Community Involvement
Mr. Isaacs received his undergraduate education from the University of California at Los Angeles in 1962 and his law degree from California Western University in 1968, where he was editor-in-chief of the Law Review. He was admitted to practice in California and federal courts in January 1969.
Mr. Isaacs is presently a member of Superior Court Civil Arbitration Panel and of the Bankruptcy Court Mediation Panel where he was named Mediator of the Year in 2007. Mr. Isaacs was also voted one of the top ten corporate/business attorneys in San Diego for 2005 in a survey conducted by the San Diego Daily Transcript and in addition, was listed as one of the top twenty bankruptcy and creditor/debtor rights attorneys in the 2007 Southern California Super Lawyers® - San Diego magazine. Mr. Isaacs also recently served on the Board of Directors and as a vice president of the San Diego County Bar Association, on the Board of Directors and as president of the San Diego Bankruptcy Forum and on the Board of Directors and as treasurer of the San Diego County Bar Foundation. He presently serves on the Board of Directors and as treasurer of the San Diego Volunteer Lawyers Program and on the Board of Directors and as vice president of the California Metabolic Research Foundation. Mr. Isaacs is recognized by Martindale-Hubbell as an AV rated attorney.
