- Mr. Kennedy has recently been involved in a number of major bankruptcy reorganization cases and complex litigation involving those proceedings.
- Mr. Kennedy has represented bankruptcy trustees, landlords, asset managers, receivers, property managers and borrowers in loan workouts, equity and rent receiverships and judicial foreclosures.
- Mr. Kennedy advises both mezzanine lenders and borrowers/developers concerning their respective rights and remedies, and is actively involved in a number of loan-workouts.

Mr. Kennedy received his undergraduate education from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo in 1979. Mr. Kennedy received his law degree from the University of San Diego in 1982 and was admitted to practice in 1982. Mr. Kennedy was law clerk to the Honorable Calvin K. Ashland, Judge, U.S. Bankruptcy Court, Central District of California in 1983. He was also law clerk to the Honorable James G. Meyers, Honorable Ross M. Pyle and Honorable Louise DeCarl Malugen (now Adler), Judges, U.S. Bankruptcy Court, Southern District of California from 1983-1984.
Mr. Kennedy is a member of the Coronado Rotary Club. He is recognized by Martindale-Hubbell as an AV rated attorney.
