AeA, San Diego Council
AeA (formerly the American Electronics Association), founded in 1943, is a nationwide non-profit trade association that represents all segments of the technology industry and is dedicated solely to helping their members’ top line and bottom line. The AeA works in partnership with their small, medium, and large member companies by lobbying governments at the state, federal, and international levels; providing access to capital and business opportunities; and offering select business services and networking programs.


American Arbitration Association
The American Arbitration Association was founded in 1925, following enactment of the Federal Arbitration Act, with the specific goal of helping to implement arbitration as an out-of-court solution to resolving disputes. The AAA's official mission and vision are based on three core values: integrity, conflict management, and service.


American Bar Association
The American Bar Association is the largest voluntary professional association in the world. With more than 400,000 members, the ABA provides law school accreditation, continuing legal education, information about the law, programs to assist lawyers and judges in their work, and initiatives to improve the legal system for the public.

 

American Inns of Court
American Inns of Court (AIC) are designed to improve the skills, professionalism and ethics of the bench and bar. An American Inn of Court is an amalgam of judges, lawyers, and in some cases, law professors and law students. Each Inn meets approximately once a month both to "break bread" and to hold programs and discussions on matters of ethics, skills and professionalism.

American Institute of Certified Public Accountants
The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants is the national, professional organization for all Certified Public Accountants. Its mission is to provide members with the resources, information, and leadership that enable them to provide valuable services in the highest professional manner to benefit the public as well as employers and clients.

Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc.
Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) is a national trade association representing 24,000 merit shop contractors, subcontractors, material suppliers and construction-related professionals in 79 chapters across the United States.  ABC represents its members in Congress and in the state legislature and provides a complete range of apprenticeship, craft training, safety and management education programs, and a variety of other services.


Association of Business Trial Lawyers
The mission of the Association of Business Trial Lawyers - San Diego is to promote the highest ideals of the legal profession — competence, ethics, professionalism and civility — through uniquely relevant and interesting educational programs and frequent informal interaction with other members of the bar and bench who embrace these ideals.

Athena is the premier organization for executive women in the San Diego life sciences, technology, healthcare and business communities. BIOCOM
BIOCOM is the largest regional life science association in the world, representing more than 550 member companies in Southern California. The association focuses on initiatives that positively influence the region’s life science community in the development and delivery of innovative products that improve health and quality of life. This includes initiatives in capital formation, public policy, workforce development, group purchasing and member services such as networking events.


California Regional Health Information Organization (CalRHIO)
CalRHIO is a collaborative effort to incrementally build the structure and capabilities necessary for a secure statewide data exchange system that enables California’s health care providers and patients to access vital patient information at the time and place it is needed.


Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce
The Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce promotes business through member services, educational programs, cooperative partnerships and legislative advocacy that balances economic prosperity with the quality of life.

The CCIM Institute confers the CCIM designation and is an affiliate of the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR).


City of San Diego Solid Waste Local Enforcement Agency
The Agency protects the public health, safety and the environment by ensuring safe and proper solid waste management practices through the enforcement of federal, state, and local laws and regulations within the jurisdiction of the City of San Diego.


CommNexus
CommNexus San Diego, formerly the San Diego Telecom Council, is a non-profit network of communications industry companies, defense industry companies, service providers, professional trade organizations, and local government. Their mission is to accelerate the formation, growth, and success of communications technology and service companies in the San Diego region.

Institute of the Americas
The Institute of the Americas has built a twenty-five year history as a promoter of informed discussion and debate about public policies in the western hemisphere. At conferences organized throughout Latin America and the United States, government officials, private sector executives and representatives of non-governmental organizations exchange views on pressing contemporary economic and social issues. Located on the campus of the University of California, San Diego in La Jolla, the Institute is ideally situated to take advantage of the area's beautiful environment and its binational, bilingual opportunities. The Institute is a not-for-profit 501(c)3 organization run by a multinational Board of Directors.


International Women's Insolvency and Restructuring Confederation - San Diego Network
IWIRC is an international professional association that works to enhance the professional status and reputation of women in insolvency practice. IWIRC provides opportunities for networking, professional development, leadership and mentoring on local and international levels. Our goals are pursued through a simple but effective principle: to create an organization of international scope that offers leadership, professional advancement and public policy development opportunities.

Lawyers Club of North County
The North County Chapter of Lawyers Club is a chapter of the Lawyers Club of San Diego and promotes the advancement of the status of women in the law in the northern portion of San Diego County. National Association of Industrial and Office Properties

National Association of Stock Plan Professionals
NASPP is the leading membership association devoted to meeting the needs of stock plan professionals, with nearly 6,000 members whose responsibilities relate, directly or indirectly, to stock plan design and administration, including compensation and human resources professionals, stock plan administrators, securities and tax attorneys, accountants, compensation consultants, corporate secretaries, transfer agents, stock brokers, and software vendors.

National Brownfield Association
The National Brownfield Associations (NBA), an alliance between NBA USA and NBA Canada, is an international membership organization dedicated to promoting responsible and sustainable redevelopment of brownfields on a consistent basis.


National Conflict Resolution Center
The National Conflict Resolution Center (NCRC) is a full service alternative dispute resolution provider operating as a private, non-profit corporation in San Diego, California. Established in 1983 as the San Diego Mediation Center, NCRC is recognized nationwide as a pioneer in expanding a traditional community mediation program into a broad based provider of ADR services, trainings, and customized programs. Services include mediation training, conflict resolution, community mediation, divorce mediation, and coaching. NCRC manages over 2,500 cases annually and serves clients from private industry, public agencies, the courts, the community and local governments.


North County Bar Association
For the past 50 years, the North County Bar Association has provided members with opportunities and resources to enhance professionalism and ensure continued growth and success. The association works to advance the interest of its members and to improve the general environment for the practice of law in Northern San Diego County. They strive to have a close relationship with the bench and also with the general public.

Pacific Coast Conservation Alliance
The specific purposes of the Pacific Coast Conservation Alliance, a 501 (c)(3) corporation, is to own, manage, or otherwise provide stewardship for conservation lands to preserve their natural and cultural historic values in perpetuity; to conduct scientific research and to restore native habitats in an environmentally and biologically beneficial manner, consistent with state and federal environmental laws, in order to preserve native flora and fauna and to ensure their long term survivorship; and to preserve Native American languages and the biological and ethnological histories of Native American cultures.


San Diego County Bar Association
Founded in 1899 and over 10,000 members strong, the San Diego County Bar Association is the region's oldest and largest law-related organization. The voice for San Diego's diverse legal community, the SDCBA takes seriously its mission to support and inform not only the county's lawyers, but also the public. Programs help clients find qualified lawyers, resolve disputes and educate San Diegans on their legal rights and responsibilities.

The San Diego MIT Enterprise Forum's mission is to educate entrepreneurs in an informative and entertaining environment in front of a diverse audience of San Diego business leaders and technologists, as well as capital and service providers.


San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce
The San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce is committed to providing broad-based economic value for its members and the international region. San Diego Regional Economic Development Corporation
The San Diego Regional Economic Development Corporation (EDC) strives to attract and retain companies in the San Diego region. The EDC works directly with these companies to assist in their relocation and expansion.


San Diego Software Industry Council
The San Diego Software Industry Council exists to foster and support the entrepreneurial spirit within the software and IT industry in San Diego, by providing an organized forum for the exchange of ideas, sharing of resources, and promotion of industry goals.

San Diego Venture Group

The San Diego Venture Group is a non-profit business organization whose mission is to provide an informal atmosphere that fosters ideas on how to form, fund and build new ventures.  Comprised of professionals with bright ideas to share, and the skills to implement those ideas, they have over 800 affiliated members and an average monthly meeting attendance of 325 people.  SDVG is helping San Diego become a significant entrepreneurial and venture center.


San Diego Volunteer Lawyer Program
The San Diego Volunteer Lawyer Program provides equal access to the justice system by serving as a bridge between indigent and other disadvantaged people in San Diego County and the volunteer lawyers and others who are willing to donate their time and resources.
 


San Dieguito River Valley Conservancy
The Conservancy works as a catalyst for the establishment of a permanent open space corridor in the San Dieguito River Valley, which will maintain the natural and rural character of the valley, preserve and enhance natural and historical resources, locate and establish recreational activities appropriately, and provide a river-long system of trails to connect recreational and educational opportunities.


San Dieguito River Watershed Stewardship Initiative Group
The San Dieguito River Watershed Planning Guidance Group or Watershed Stewardship Initiative Group (WSIG) was formed in January 2004 and includes representatives from the community groups, governmental jurisdictions, agriculture, environmentalists, and water agencies.


Scripps Institution of Oceanography
Scripps Institution of Oceanography is one of the oldest, largest, and most important centers for marine science research, graduate training, and public service in the world. Research at Scripps Institution of Oceanography encompasses physical, chemical, biological, geological, and geophysical studies of the oceans.

Sierra Club
The Sierra Club has been instrumental in preserving wilderness, wildlife and nature's most splendid wild places for over 100 years — Yosemite National Park, Grand Canyon National Park, the Florida Everglades and the Sequoia National Monument to name just a few — helping protect over 150 million acres of wilderness and wildlife habitat. They are America's most effective advocate for the environment and help protect the environment locally and globally.


Sierra Club of San Diego
Sierra Club members living in San Diego and Imperial Counties, California, are automatically enrolled in the San Diego Chapter, which currently numbers over 15,000.


Southern California Compliance Group
The Southern California Compliance Group provides a meeting place for San Diego, Orange and Riverside County compliance professionals to discuss common concerns, offering an open forum for candid discussions with industry personnel and members.


State Bar of California
Created by the state legislature in 1927, the State Bar is a public corporation within the judicial branch of government, serving as an arm of the California Supreme Court. All State Bar members are officers of the court. Membership in the State Bar of California affords attorneys the right and privilege of practicing law in this state. The bar's integrated network of functions and services — many of them mandated by law — protects the public and assists attorneys in meeting their professional obligations.
