American Diabetes Association
The American Diabetes Association is the nation's leading 501(C)3 nonprofit health organization providing diabetes research, information and advocacy. Founded in 1940, the American Diabetes Association conducts programs in all 50 states and the District of Columbia, reaching hundreds of communities. The mission of the Association is to prevent and cure diabetes and to improve the lives of all people affected by diabetes. To fulfill this mission, the American Diabetes Association funds research, publishes scientific findings, provides information and other services to people with diabetes, their families, health professionals and the public. The Association is also actively involved in advocating for scientific research and for the rights of people with diabetes.


Arthritis Foundation, San Diego Chapter
The mission of the Arthritis Foundation is to improve lives through leadership in the prevention, control, and cure of arthritis and related diseases.


Big Brothers Big Sisters of San Diego
Big Brothers Big Sisters is the oldest, largest and most effective youth mentoring organization in the United States. We have been the leader in one-to-one youth service for more than a century, developing positive relationships that have a direct and lasting impact on the lives of young people. Big Brothers Big Sisters of San Diego County serves children, ages 7 through 18, in five distinct programs: Amachi, Bigs in Schools, Community Mentoring, High School Bigs and Operation Bigs.


Blue Ryno Foundation
The Blue Ryno Foundation (the "Foundation") is a nonprofit public benefit corporation organized exclusively for charitable purposes to provide support, facilities and services to critically or terminally ill children and their families. It is the Foundation's mission to enlighten the lives of critically or terminally ill children and assist their families in times of distress through a variety of means, including financial support, access to medical and administrative facilities and services, and through the continued love and support of the Foundation and its staff.


Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater San Diego
For more than 65 years, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater San Diego have been committed to serving at-risk youth between the ages of six and eighteen and reaching out to young people in need. Their sole purpose is to better serve the 13,000 youth who are currently Club members in the Greater San Diego region. With a staff of more than 160 employees, they operate twelve facilities (including a new Teen Center) and five school-site programs throughout San Diego County.


Boys & Girls Clubs of San Dieguito
A non-profit organization that serves over 20,000 youth in north coastal San Diego, an area known as San Dieguito. Their 16 facilities, outreach sites and special programs offer exceptional programs for youth including after school activities, summer activities, music, theater, aquatics, athletics and educational enhancement. Their affiliation with Boys & Girls Clubs of America gives them access to many proven programs. Their qualified staff is adept at developing programs that appeal to youth in each unique Club. Membership dues are intentionally kept low so that no child is excluded and financial assistance is available. From athletics to education and arts, the Boys & Girls Clubs of San Dieguito offer a wide variety of programs to meet the needs of the community and instill a sense of belonging, usefulness, influence and competence in our youth.


California Metabolic Research Foundation


Community Catalysts Housing Alliance
Community Catalysts of California is a nonprofit, 501c3, California public-benefit Corporation that serves individuals with disabilities living throughout California. Last year, we assisted over 700 people by providing a variety of services: including independent living-skills training, vocational counseling, crisis intervention, transportation, improving access to medical care and family respite care. Our goal is to help those in need achieve their highest level of self-sufficiency and live successfully in the community. Services are available 24 hours a day.


Fondo Para La Paz
Fondo Para la Paz is a Private Assistance Institution created in 1994, whose objective is to improve gradually and permanently the quality of life of families living in the poorest areas of Mexico, through several programs developed for their greatest needs: nutrition, health, education and income generation.


Goodwill Industries of San Diego
Goodwilld Industries of San Diego County (GISD), a private, not-for-profit 501 (c)(3) charitable organization, was established in 1930 at 16th and Imperial in San Diego by a group of community leaders. After more than 60 years in the Gaslamp quarter, in 1994 we moved our offices to our current site in Pt. Loma. At the current time, we have 12 retail locations and 17 donation centers in San Diego County.


Home Start, Inc.
Founded in 1972 as a highly successful, national Head Start demonstration project, Home Start targets children living in poverty who require immediate, comprehensive solutions to ensure their safety and healthy development. In 1977, Home Start Inc. incorporated as a San Diego-based, private nonprofit agency dedicated to child abuse prevention and family strengthening services.


Junior Seau Foundation
For 15 years, the Junior Seau Foundation has given San Diego–area youth ongoing support in the form of scholarships and financial support for a variety of programs. The Foundation achieves its mission through financial contributions from corporations and individuals. While each of these programs is unique, all satisfy the Foundation’s overall mission: To educate and empower young people through the support of child abuse prevention, drug and alcohol awareness, recreational opportunities, anti-juvenile delinquency efforts and complimentary educational programs.


Liam's Fund
The goal of Liam's Fund is to purchase state-of-the-art equipment. Liam's Fund seeks to raise funds for sophisticated neurosurgical equipment that can reduce the number of surgeries performed and significantly increase the number of successful procedures for children who face the anguish of brain surgery.


March of Dimes
The March of Dimes' mission is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth, and infant mortality. They carry out this mission through research, community services, education and advocacy to save babies' lives. March of Dimes researchers, volunteers, educators, outreach workers and advocates work together to give all babies a fighting chance against the threats to their health: prematurity, birth defects, low birthweight.

North County Philanthropy Council
The Philanthropy Council is an association of professionals, board members and volunteers of nonprofit organizations serving North San Diego County communities. Membership in the council is open to all organizations and individuals interested in philanthropy.

San Diego County Bar Foundation
The San Diego County Bar Foundation is the charitable arm of the San Diego County legal community, and in partnership with the San Diego County Bar Association, strives to provide access to justice by investing in sustainable results and advocacy for people and communities in our region that are impacted by poverty, abuse and discrimination. The Foundation does this by supporting, funding, and encouraging the creation of public service programs that support the ideals of justice by delivering legal services, improving the administration of justice and promoting public understanding of the law. Since their founding, they have donated more than $1.5 million to more than 30 legal aid and public interest organizations and grown our Board restricted endowment to more than $1.4 million.


San Diego Foundation
The San Diego Foundation is San Diego's leading resource for information about charitable giving and community needs. They encourage and support meaningful dialogue on issues affecting each of our communities and work with philanthropists to develop creative solutions to meet critical community needs. Since their inception in 1975, The San Diego Foundation has helped public-spirited citizens find ways to address community problems. The funds they manage now number more than 1,050. Through them, their donors support numerous organizations and serve a variety of community needs. Their donors and funds all share a common purpose: to make San Diego a better place in which to live, work and play.


San Diego Hospice & Palliative Care
San Diego Hospice & Palliative Care is a not-for-profit, independent health care organization providing expert pain management and compassionate care to adults, children and infants living with serious or life-limiting illness. The Hospice serves patients and families throughout all of San Diego County. Their mission is to prevent and relieve suffering and promote quality of life, at every stage of life, through patient and family care, education, research and advocacy.
